Last Updated/ Effective: February 10, 2014 Whenever an individual, company, organization, Charity/Non-Profit, volunteer, donor, or any other party (hereinafter “Website User,” or “You,” or “Your”), uses this website, www.richindeeds.com (hereinafter “Website,” or “Site”), which is owned, operated, and controlled by Rich in Deeds, LLC (hereinafter “Us,” “Our,” or “We), such use constitutes your acceptance of this Privacy Policy (hereinafter, “Policy”). If you do not accept any aspect of this Policy you should not use the Website. Any changes or updates to this Privacy Policy will be posted on our Website, with the effective date listed at the top. By continuing use of the Website after we post any such changes, you accept the Privacy Policy as modified. We respect your privacy, and will not use or share your information with anyone except as prescribed in this Policy. This Policy is designed to help you understand how we collect, use, and share your information, or abstain from doing so.

I. How We Collect Information

General: We have access to all information you submit to the Website. We collect information about you from two sources: 1) information you affirmatively give to us; and 2) information automatically collected when you visit the Website. Third parties (such as registered Charities and Non-Profit users) may also collect your information in connection with your use of the Site. Any information you post to the Website is governed by our Terms of Use. 1) Profiles: When you sign up with our Website, you may be given the option to create a profile, wherein you will be asked for certain information such as contact information, photographs, or, in the case of Charities or Non-Profits, their mission statement, volunteer opportunities, EIN, or Federal Tax ID number. When you are a registered member of our Website, you can make changes to your account information or profile by logging into the Website and using the account tools available via the Website. After you provide such information and set up your account, we may ask you to provide additional information about yourself on an optional basis. We may ask you for certain financial information, including credit card data or other payment method data, to process payments of membership fees or donations. We may record any communication we have with you via any means, including e-mail, telephone, and letters. By choosing to provide any information to us, you are giving us to use and store such information consistent with this Policy. 2) Your Activity: When you visit the Website, we may record your activity and collect general information such as but not limited to the pages you visited and the amount of time spent on each page. We may log information from your computer and browser, such as your IP address, profile information, aggregate user data, browser type, software and hardware attributes, pages you request, and cookie information. By using the Website, you are giving us permission to use and store such information consistent with this Policy. 3) Communications: Any emails or other communications you send through the Website to other users of the Website may be retained and recorded, though no personal messages will be posted publicly without permission. Any messages you send to a Charity will only be seen by that Charity, who can delete it if they like. When you send email or other communications to us, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services. We may use your email address to communicate with you about charitable events occurring in your area, information on how and who your donation assisted, other causes that you may be interested in giving to, and additional services that we have the ability to provide to our users.

II. How We Use Or Share Your Information

To Contact You: We may use your contact information to send you information such as information about a donation confirmations, notices regarding problems with your credit card, notifications regarding relevant Charities, updates to our Website, receipts, reminders about an event or volunteer commitments, newsletters, administrative notices, service announcements, terms and conditions of your account, or promotional information and updates regarding our services that you may not opt out of receiving them. Any information collected from you is used to help us deliver our services and continuously enhance the user experience. We use collected information to communicate with you, fulfill your requests, customize content, improve our products and services, protect our rights, and comply with laws and regulations. Profiles: The profiles of Charities will be open for public view, and they can be edited, changed, or removed by the Charity whenever such Charity wishes. Donor and volunteer profiles and information will never be open for public view. With donor/volunteer permission, personal data voluntarily given such as name and e-mail will be shared with the Charity when applicable consistent with this policy. Transactions: When donors or volunteers pledge or elect to donate or volunteer to a certain Charity or other Website User, certain information of such donors or volunteers will be sent to that Charity or User. We will also use the information you submit to the Website to facilitate completion of your donations made via the Website and to provide you with tools to manage and monitor your transactions. This may include your credit card information, which we will not share with anyone. Marketing: We will never use your information for publicity or marketing purposes without your permission (except as may be required by law, as described below). Security: Your accounts may be secured by member-created passwords; you are responsible for keeping your passwords confidential. We take security seriously and we take reasonable measures to protect all of our users’ information. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. We restrict access to such information to those employees who need access to perform their jobs functions, such as our customer service personnel and technical staff. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology. Despite these efforts, please note we cannot ensure or guarantee the security of your information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security if your information at any time. We are not responsible for any information you share with other users of the Website or other third parties. Legal: Although such a situation may be unlikely, we may be required to disclose certain information of yours to appropriate authorities in accordance with law, whether by subpoena or other legitimate request, or if, in our business judgment, such disclosure is reasonably necessary to (i) enforce applicable Terms of Service (ii) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or (iii) protect the rights, property, or personal safety of our Website, us, our affiliates, our officers, directors, employees, representatives, our licensors, other Website Users, and/or the public.

III. Privacy Protection for Children

This Website is not directed to children under the age of thirteen. In compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from persons under the age of 13 through the Website or otherwise. If we later learn that any user is under the age of 13, or that we have inadvertently received personally identifiable information from a user under the age of 13 through the Website, we will take appropriate steps to remove that user’s information from the database and restrict that user’s access to the Website. Because we do not collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 via the Website, we also do not knowingly distribute such information to third parties, and we do not condone the participation of a child under 13 in the Website’s online activities on providing personally identifiable information.

We are based in the U.S., and our offices are headquartered in the U.S. Please be aware that information you provide to us or we obtain as a result of your use of the Website may be processed and transferred to the U.S. and be subject to U.S. law, this information may also be processed by staff working for us. The privacy and data protection laws in the U.S. may not be equivalent to such laws in your country or residence.
